The Crossroads Project is looking to add to its team of Finance Volunteers, which currently has a Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer.
Experience in the charity field is desirable but not essential. Our accounts are not overly complex, but we do have several income streams and manage the finance of the Advice Centre, Foodbank and Charity Shop, in addition to other funds.
A competent treasurer or part qualified accountant would be ideal. The successful candidate would need to maintain financial control, records and ensure we comply with our legal responsibilities as a Registered Charity as well as negotiating contracts with suppliers, utilities, landlords etc.
The purposes of the Charity are to support the Meltham Community and surrounding area according to Christian values as outlined in our Code of Conduct.
