The parish Church at Helme was built in 1858 and financed by Charles Brook, a local mill owner. It is situated in a picturesque and rural village area and is popular for weddings. It has a rare wooden "shingle" spire, and the interior walls are covered with Biblical texts. It is adjacent to a Church Aided Junior and Infant School. It has a social space with excellent kitchen and toilet facilities, and there is an adjacent car park.

The congregation extends a warm welcome to all visitors.

Service held at 11:00am
